Oops she did it again. My little sister beat everyone to the top of the Confidence Picks Challenge mountain to be this week's winner. She racked up 114/136 points only picking two games wrong. So stay tuned for this weeks Confidence Picks Challenge fancast at FanvsFan.com where my two youngest children will be beating me with whatever they wish while I attempt to do the fancast. Congrats Boo!
Spread Selections (Week 14)
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland (+10) (36) Take the Steelers (-10) and the over. Cleveland- 13 Pittsburgh- 6 Total- 19 What in the hell is going on here, next pigs are going to start to fly. I missed on both numbers and have lost all confidence in the Steelers covering any numbers for the remainder of the season. (0-1-0), (0-1-0)
New Orleans @ Atlanta (+10.5) (52.5) Take the Saints (-10.5) and the under. New Orleans- 26 Atlanta- 23 Total- 49 I understand division battles are pretty tight, but the Saints should have won this game by a lot more, but at least I split here. (0-2-0), (1-1-0)
Detroit @ Baltimore (-13) (39.5) Take the Lions (+13) and the under. Baltimore- 48 Detroit- 3 Total- 51 My once upon a time man crush Duante Culpepper has finally proven he is more than done. I missed on both numbers. (0-3-0), (1-2-0)
Green Bay @ Chicago (+3) (41) Take the Packers (-3) and the over. Green Bay- 21 Chicago- 14 Total- 35 Thanks to Jay Cutler and the inept Lovie Smith the Packers covered, but didn't score enough to net me the over. (1-3-0), (1-3-0)
Seattle @ Houston (-6) (44.5) Take the Seahawks (+6) and the over. Houston- 34 Seattle- 7 Total- 41 The Seahawks are so hit and miss which cost me both numbers. (1-4-0), (1-4-0)
Denver @ Indianapolis (-7) (44) Take the Broncos (+7) and the under. Indianapolis- 28 Denver- 16 Total- 44 Only if the Broncos could have gotten the ball a couple more times to Brandon Marshall they may have covered the spread, but at least I pushed on the under. (1-5-0), (1-4-1)
Miami @ Jacksonville (-3) (44) Take the Dolphins (+3) and the under. Miami- 14 Jacksonville- 10 Total- 24 Finally a double winner. (2-5-0), (2-4-1)
Buffalo @ Kansas City (+1) (37) Take the Chiefs (+1) and the over. Buffalo- 16 Kansas City- 10 Total- 26 Damn these two offenses suck, costing me both numbers once again. (2-6-0), (2-5-1)
Cincinnati @ Minnesota (-6.5) (43) Take the Vikings (-6.5) and the under. Minnesota- 30 Cincinnati- 10 Total- 40 Another double winner. Sound that damn Viking horn. (3-6-0), (3-5-1)
Carolina @ New England (-13.5) (44) Take the Panthers (+13.5) and the under. New England- 20 Carolina- 10 Total- 30 If you did quit on your team Randy Moss my wallet thanks you, because I netted both numbers here. (4-6-0), (4-5-1)
NY Jets @ Tampa Bay (+5) (39.5) Take the Buccaneers (+5) and the under. NY Jets- 26 Tampa Bay- 3 Total- 29 I can't bet on the Bucs rookie quarterback to keep them in games any longer. I missed on the spread, but hit on the under. (4-7-0), (5-5-1)
St. Louis @ Tennessee (-13) (41.5) Take the Titans (-13) and the over. Tennessee- 47 St. Louis- 7 Total- 54 Hooray Chris Johnson, I netted both numbers once again. (5-7-0), (6-5-1)
Washington @ Oakland (+1) (37.5) Take the Raiders (+1) and the under. Washington- 34 Oakland- 13 Total- 47 Where was this Redskins offense at the beginning of the season. Plus, no more betting on the Raiders with Russell back under center. I missed on both numbers here. (5-8-0), (6-6-1)
San Diego @ Dallas (-3) (48.5) Take the Chargers (+3) and the over. San Diego- 20 Dallas- 17 Total- 37 Damn that late Cowboys touchdown which made me push on the spread. I missed big time on the over. (5-8-1), (6-7-1)
Philadelphia @ NY Giants (-1) (44.5) Take the Eagles (+1) and the over. Philadelphia- 45 NY Giants- 38 Total- 83 I love Philly, I love DeSean Jackson who both helped me nail both numbers on this game. (6-8-1), (7-7-1)
Arizona @ San Francisco (+3) (44.5) Take the 49ers (-3) and the under. San Francisco- 24 Arizona- 9 Total- 33 Good way to finish up hitting on both numbers. (7-8-1), (8-7-1)
