Week 8 of the NFL season has plenty of important match-ups that involve many teams that evenly matched. So keeping up that nice streak I started last week will be tough, but I'm determined to do it. Recently, I got involved with a new website FanvsFan where you can record Fancast shows, which I have done a few. You can find the links to these shows on the Touchdown Dance sidebar. I'm happy to announce that my little blog has been picking up a good number of visitors of late and many more people joining in the Confidence Picks Challenge. So to heighten the stakes for the Confidence Picks Challenge I propose that if any reader or visitor that comes to Touchdown Dance and joins in the Confidence Picks Challenge fun and beats me (McSpazz) that I will wear a dress in next week's Confidence Picks Challenge fancast on FanvsFan.com.
Yes, McSpazz will be wearing a dress for the whole world to see. You can send the video to as many people as you want, but only if you can beat me, McSpazz. Also, you get the honor of having your named place as the Confidence Picks Challenge weekly winner on the Touchdown Dance sidebar for all of your family, friends, strangers and dangers to see. Oh, what an honor. You can leave your Confidence Picks in the comments section of this post or email them to me at mcspazz@tddance.com.
Once again only 13 games on tap, so number your 13 to 1. Thirteen being your most confident pick and 1 being your least confident winning selection.
Lets get this thing started, here's the Touchdown Dance NFL Week 8 Confidence & Spread picks.

- Spread Picks (Week 8)
Denver @ Baltimore (-3) (41.5) Take the Ravens (-3) and the over. Baltimore- 30 Denver- 7 Total- 37 The Ravens defense came to play securing me the spread, but the offense didn't score enough to net me the over. (1-0-0), (0-1-0)
NY Giants @ Philadelphia (Pick Em) (44) Take the Giants (Pick Em) and the over. Philadelphia- 40 NY Giants- 17 Total- 57 The Giants are clearly having a tough stretch. My confidence in the G-Men cost me the pick, but the Eagles offense netted me the over. (1-1-0), (1-1-0)
Miami @ NY Jets (-3.5) (40.5) Take the Jets (-3.5) and the under. Miami- 30 NY Jets- 25 Total- 55 Damn you Ted Ginn Jr. That single player cost me the spread and the over pick with two long kickoff returns. (1-2-0), (1-2-0)
San Francisco @ Indianapolis (-13) (44) Take the 49ers (+13) and the over. Indianapolis- 18 San Francisco- 14 Total- 32 The defensive battle cost me the over, but the competitive 49ers let me hit on the spread. (2-2-0), (1-3-0)
St. Louis @ Detroit (-9.5) (45.5) Take the Rams (+9.5) and the under. St. Louis- 17 Detroit- 10 Total- 27 The Rams first victory in forever gave me the spread and the inept offense of both teams gave me the under. (3-2-0), (2-3-0)
Seattle @ Dallas (-9.5) (46) Take the Seahawks (+9.5) and the under. Dallas- 38 Seattle- 17 Total- 55 The Cowboys offensive resurgence cost me the spread and the under. (3-3-0), (2-4-0)
Cleveland @ Chicago (-14) (40) Take the Bears (-14) and the over. Chicago- 30 Cleveland- 6 Total- 36 The Browns are horrible which gave me the easy win against the spread, but the Bears could muster enough to get me the over. (4-3-0), (2-5-0)
Houston @ Buffalo (+3.5) (41) Take the Texans (-3.5) and the under. Houston- 31 Buffalo- 10 Total- 41 The Texans are on a role which netted me the spread while I pushed on the total. (5-3-0), (2-5-1)
Oakland @ San Diego (-17) (41.5) Take the Chargers (-17) and the over. San Diego- 24 Oakland- 16 Total- 40 The Chargers have bitten me again making me miss on both the spread and the over. (5-4-0), (2-6-1)
Jacksonville @ Tennessee (-3) (45) Take the Jaguars (+3) and the over. Tennessee- 30 Jacksonville- 13 Total- 43 The Titans finally breakthrough with a win which cost me the spread, but did net me the over. (5-5-0), (3-6-1)
Minnesota @ Green Bay (-3) (47) Take the Vikings (+3) and the under. Minnesota- 38 Green Bay- 26 Total- 64 Brett Favre showed he still has Lambeau magic which help me net the spread, but the cost me the under. (6-5-0), (3-7-1)
Carolina @ Arizona (-10) (41) Take the Panthers (+10) and the over. Carolina- 34 Arizona- 21 Total- 55 The Panthers surprising victory netted me both the spread and the over. (7-5-0), (4-7-1)
Atlanta @ New Orleans (-10) (54) Take the Falcons (+10) and the over. New Orleans- 35 Atlanta- 27 Total- 62 I was sweating this won out, but a late Coy Wire strip of Mike Bell gave the Falcons a chance a score again. That score gave me a win against the spread and the over. (8-5-0), (5-7-1)
